Big/Lil Reveal

Big/Lil Reveal happened last night (which is always a fun time). This year the bigs had to make a puzzle with a theme, or some type of costume, to make it fun for them to figure out. The puzzles gave a clue to each person. Then they would run outside and find the person with something on or with them that matched all of their clues!

BUST CHAMPS 09! PROUD TO BE PANDAS!

We were the Lambda Chi Alpha Watermelon Bust Champs for 09! We were so excited because it is one of our chapter's favorite events! And beating the other sororities at events always makes it a little bit better!! :) But our theme this year was to dress like watermelons--it was very cute! Here's another few pictures..

Alum Potluck

Hello! The Alum Potluck is taking place on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the Stables in the Curris Center. It begins at 12 and we have reserved the room until 3, so we have time to catch up! I hope you all can make it! Email me back at the alumnae email account if you are coming and bringing a side item! Thanks! Look forward to seeing everybody!

All Campus Sing CHAMPS!

We were fortunate enough to win All Campus Sing this year! It was great and we were all very excited about it! We won $300 since we were the top sorority. Here's a couple of pictures of our show and us with our giant check!

STRIKE OUT!!

Here is our whole group at Strike Out Arithritis (our AOII guy is sitting in front of the group) ! This was the best turnout that we've ever had a Strike Out! We had 26 teams this year, and we raised over 1600 dollars towards our Philanthropy, the most money raised in years! Kirby, our Philanthropic Chair, is doing a terrific job at this office, and expect to hear more great news about our next fundraising event, Relay for Life.

Here's a few photos from initiation weekend. At the top is at Founder's Day, after initiation! (that's one of our new babies on the far left). And the bottom picture is at Chapter Retreat that weekend. As for the weird choice of clothing, we were asked to dress up like a Hollywood star or character and it was really fun! We split up into groups and put on skits so the girls could try to guess who we were! Overall, the weekend was a blast and went really well! We are so excited to have our three new girls!

UPDATE: IMPORTANT!

Founder's Day festivities are now at OAKS COUNTRY CLUB! The Stables ended up not working out, so we had to move places. Sorry for any inconvenience but I think this will end up being even better! Thanks!

Don't forget: Founder's Day is on Sunday, February 22nd! Yay! And also, initiation for our 3 new baby pandas is that day, so snaps for that! Ritual begins at 11:00 am on that day, then probably by 12, we will be walking to the Stables in the Curris Center for Founder's Day festivities. PLEASE let me know if you'll be coming. I haven't heard back from very many alumnae, so if you can make it, we would love to have you!

The Ice Storm!

I'm sure all of you heard or were a victim of the huge ice storm that struck Murray a couple of weeks ago! I thought I'd post some pictures of what it did!
